We all live in a big circus that we call life. The nature of this life is very volatile, and as such, we are all subjected to the twists and turns that come along with it. However, many people choose to sit back and think about all of the things that they don’t have, thinking that the grass is always greener some place else. I believe that we should accept our lives, and all of God’s gifts to the fullest, looking at the glass half full rather than empty. I choose to accept, and live my life happily, while doing my best to spread joy to all those I meet. So stop looking in the mirror and perceiving the negative.. choose to see color in your life and wish for color and happiness onto others. With the circus as the setting for this concept, I am able to portray all of the fantasy, color and extravagance that come along with it. Furthermore, I am able to explore the relationship between the spectators and the performers, each from behind their personal curtains, highlighting the difference in their perceptions of one another . While each envies the other for their lifestyle, they remain unaware of the trials that they face and the story behind and inside each of us!
